“If we’re not patient with the first part of the route, how can we expect the second part of the route to work?

Where have we seen this problem before?

McDaniels can draw up protection schemes, but do we have the linemen to carry them out?

Pats had a no name OLine that worked well together with the QB. Hoping that carries through here.

Major issue here, no patience to make the 2nd read. It's 1 and chuck or duck or......it's the 2nd/3rd reads that make the great ones great. Carr is still stuck in his 1 read offense at Fresno State. He'll try to make that 2nd read before chucking it.....but it's difficult to teach old dogs new tricks.

Yep, going have to see it, to believe it, don’t think Carr will ever take us to the promise land, hope McDaniels can make Carr better, in doing a better job of letting the play develop and other reads instead of the first read, but have to see to believe.

...a few Nick Mullens' leaks as a better system fit should light a fire in Carr's ass....for how long who knows.

Reading the quote I posted, the interception at the end of the Cincinnati game came to mind. Carr not waiting for the tight end to clear out, but instead forced the throw into an interception with a clean pocket. Perfect example.

Carr definitely the best QB on our team, I don’t see Mullens being a threat, but will see what happens when the season progresses.
