#Raiders DE Maxx Crosby has been on an absolute tear this season:

    *5 sacks
*11 QB hits (1st in NFL)
    *25 hurries (1st)
    *43 total pressures (1st)
    *91.7 @PFF
    pass-rush grade (1st)
    *27.6% pass-rush win rate (1st)

A superstar player. He'll be extension eligible after the season.

We'll supposedly have a lot more free money next offseason. I hope Mayock can offer a reasonable salary that won't keep us handicapped. I would like a top tier DT or one more star player on Defense. We also need to pay Hayward too.

They've had Tom Delaney do that, he's been there since at least Mumbles. Seems he will do whatever the GM wants....Mumbles liked the pay as you go type deals, no signing bonuses, no kicking the can down the street....so all deals were structured in that manner during Mumbles' tenure. When Gruden took over, we saw quite a few deals with signing bonuses. restructures....which kicks the can down the street. So it seems he's more of a cap guy than a football decision maker. I think as long as Delaney wants to be here, he will be here.

...which reminds me of the Austin Howard deal, a roster bonus somehow mistakenly entered the contract verbiage as a signing bonus....

Maxx Crosby went to Von Miller's pass rushing summit early in the year and learned how to sack Von Miller's QB.
