Kj wright in for a visit

K.J. Wright LB, Unsigned Free Agent
Free agent LB K.J. Wright is visiting the Raiders.

Wright recorded 86 tackles in 16 starts for Seattle last year, and he'd offer a much-needed boost to the Las Vegas defense. The veteran LB is already familiar with the scheme, having played under DC Gus Bradley during his time with the Seahawks. Wright was also tied to the Cowboys earlier this offseason, but nothing came of it. Josina Anderson reports the current plan is for Wright to think through his options at home after the visit.

Interesting. Littleton, Kwit and Wright would be the best LB trio since.....ever?

Should be better than the RAIDERS have had in a long time. But of course it is only on paper.

Wright is familiar with Bradley's scheme from when they were both in Seattle. He would be a great addition.

Kirk Morrison and Thomas Howard were special.

This LB core could be nice. But the law firm of Howard & Morrison were something

Agreed, would be a huge add on the field in terms of teaching and development of the defense, it allows Bradley to go deeper in the playbook.

I think Gruden and Mayock may be thinking we might actually have something this year... they see the weapons and possibilities on offense, and are starting to look at what rhey really need to do to solidify this defense to truly compete unlike years past where they stuck a piece of paper to the wall and prayed each week
