2021 Raiders schedule release grades are in!!!!

Good day to you! After studying and sleeping on our 2021 schedule release last night, the grades are in!!! Let's jump right in to all the great aspects and components to our upcoming schedule for 2021 Raiders season!

    1. 3 straight home games to start the pre-season! Game 1 in Vegas to take on the Seattle Seahawks! Anytime you can get a look vs Russell Wilson in the pre-season, this will get Gus Bradley and the new defense the quality reps it's looking for! Game 2, a home game at SOFI in front of the LA Raider Nation! If Phillip Rivers had to go to a silent count in a 30,000 seat soccer stadium vs the Raiders, what do you think Justin Herbert is going to have to do in a stadium seating 90,000? Can't wait! Pre-season game 3 is the final home game vs the 49ers in Santa Clara! The Raider Nation from Oakland and the Bay Area as a whole, got thrown a bone from the NFL to treat this loyal and local fanbase to a home game vs the Niners in Oakland South! The league should schedule this pre-season game every year with the Raiders and Niners in Santa Clara! All three major markets our Raiders have dominated and continue to dominate will see the Raiders play right in their very own back yards!

In terms of the regular season schedule, the fact that we got 3 prime time games with 2 Monday night games in the first 4 weeks, tells you the NFL thinks our Raiders are going to be legit this year! The NFL does not want a crap product in Prime time games. The fact that the Raiders got 3 is telling in and of itself!

Every team gets a Thursday game. With the Raiders getting the 'grand daddy of team all' a Thursday game on Thanksgiving vs the Cowboys, is another sign the NFL thinks the Raiders are going to be a force to be reckoned with this year! This game, plus our 2 Monday night games and 1 Sunday nighter, gives the Raiders lots of national exposure!

The Raiders Dec 19th game vs the Browns in Cleveland, has the opportunity to be flexed to Saturday Dec 18. Again, the NFL anticipates the Raiders and Browns being serious playoff contenders this year, and wants to give national exposure and feature the very best games the NFL has to offer!

    Other thoughts....

Tough first 5 games out the gate no doubt, with the home opener on Monday night football vs a tough and legit Ravens team! We don't have to wait long to make a statement!

The bye week comes perfectly at the mid point of the season during week 8! Typically this is ideal and a desire for any club in terms of bye weeks preferences. Early bye weeks have you playing a long stretch of games and into the playoffs. Getting the mid season break, allows you to self evaluate and self scout, and also get yourself as healthy as can be for the playoff push!

Back to back cold weather games at KC and at Cleveland should be looked at as a blessing in disguise! Chances are you will have to play in cold weather in the playoffs to get to where you want to go and that's the Super Bowl! These 2 cold weather games vs playoff teams from last year, will prime our Raiders in the event we have to play a cold weather playoff game or 2!

And for the first time in 8 years, our Raiders will finish the regular season at home vs the LA Chargers! Home cooking will be key, and as competitive as the NFL is, I imagine we will be jockeying for position all the way until the last game and that's week 18 at home!

Add it all up and the grade for the Raiders 2021 schedule release is none other than an A+!

    GO RAIDERS!

If the schedule is an A+ - does Goodell get the bonus or does Mark? I'm confused.

FIB has more credibility than deranged.

Don't you think the NFL stuck it to us once again as we are the only team with 4 short weeks on their schedule?

There’s some questionable shit on the Raiders schedule every year. Glad the moron that started the thread is here to blow sunshine all over it

Short flight to Dallas from Vegas will minimize the short week. The good news is, coming off the Thanksgiving game, it's like you get a 'mini bye week' with 10 days to rest and prepare to play the WFT coming into Vegas!

Week 1 Monday night game will also minimize the short week effects with it being so early in the season. Traveling to Pitt week 2, who has taken a step backwards on paper, with weather also being on the Raiders side for this one too. We good bro!

    Go Raiders!

The Raiders use to be the kings of MNF. I hope they regain the crown. I think the Thanksgiving game gives the team a nice 3 day mini bye afterwards.

The answer to your question a huge NO. On top of that, if anyone rates them less, or is using reality to form opinions, then you are not a fan. Hes a straight up CLOWN

Guys this is a big deal. Ive been waiting for the schedule grades to drop. Did you know 18 of the last 20 SB winners received an A+ for their schedule that season? Not only that, but every team that finished with an A+ on schedule, free agency and draft in the same off season went on to win the SB.
