Since the draw distance is much farther, the game should be easier and funner to play. Looks like I'll have to dump my PS2 version and trade it in...

This is what i was talking about , between the PS2 and XBox there is no comparison, They have to make the game better to come to Xbox and they can add all they want becuse of the better system. Guy who do not have a Xbox are jsut missing better gaming. I should know i have both systems and the Xbox has taken over, I was a PS2 junkie but i know when i see better.

Same thing here, when I bought my XBOX ( a whole year after my ps2) I never went back. The same can be said with my psp replacing my gba...

The only thing that I dont like is the controller, but I heard that there is a PS2 controller for Xbox, that changes things, but still, y did xbox have those useless white and black buttons? All this about graphics is a non issue becuase the next generation consoles are coming out this or early next year. So while the PS2 players have played, beaten, found all the little hidden gems of the GTA san andreas world, and let me tell you, this game is freakin so badass its incomprensible, you guys have been at it at HALO 2( great game by the way) Its just a little late in my opinion

Doubt it, Sony always knows what to do in order to keep Microsoft off their shoulders, I think the 360 will dissapoint alot of folks...

Sony is in trouble. They've been steadily getting their butts handed to them by an Evil Empire that just entered Console Gaming 3 years ago. Microsoft is not only still learning, but gaining a vast majority of the market. There's is no physical way the Xbox could of immediately taken over Playstation 2 but it completely crushed the Gamecube. Microsoft will eventially be atop the Console Gaming world. Bill friggin Gates, man. He's the Al Davis of ****ing computers, its over for Sony. I used to love Sony, I bought 3 ps1s (Cuz they all broke, similiar with the PS2). I even have a ferret named Playstation, but the simple fact is that true dyed-in-the-wool console gamers have all migrated to Xbox. Soon, the cursory gamers will follow.

I hate hate hate the controller knock. There's been adapters to convert controllers between systems forever. I guess the idle gamer just isn't as informed as the diehards, its a shame they all think that you're stuck with one option.
