And yeah when I got the refurb system back from them, it is loud! It startED off with like a beep and the loudest fan. It sounded like some random guy just repaired it the wrong way but just got it to work instead of a an actual company.

Dude I know the feeling.....I'm on my 3rd one myself. I just got it back less than 2 weeks ago.
The 360 is the best system I've ever played and I still have it because of that(plus Microsoft hasn't charged me a dime yet for repairs...) but they really need to get their act together with this reliability issue.... My first one lasted about a year 2nd one I got back in mid August last year (I remember posting on here in the video game section alot because I would miss madden 08's release...) Matter of fact the DVD drive broke on that one. They should replace yours too if thats the issue. Now I'm on a new one that isn't 2 weeks old yet. It better last ![]() I waited over a month for my 2nd one but it was only about 2-2.5 weeks for my most recent one. If they didn't use UPS ground it would be even faster.Good luck on getting your 360 back man. I know what it's like lol.... |

I only got the ring of death once, but it took them almost a month or so to send the box for me to ship it to them, and then it took them another month or so for them to fix it and send it back. I got a new xbox from them that came with new problems. Disc tray gets stuck all the time and my 360 sounds like an engine. Microsoft sucks, if sony could make better games and more durable controllers i would definitely make the switch. I cant tell you how many ps2 controllers i went through...

I love my PS3. But it wasn't that long ago Sony had the same problem. I went through two PS1's and three PS2's. My original XBox never broke, but I barely played it very much, only Halo 2. But PS3 is a really good system. If you can afford one I suggest you get one. You can get your 360 fixed and use it for 360 only games and play everything else on PS3. There's some really good PS3 exclusives coming soon. Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and Gran Turismo. And the online is free.

Guys when you have multiple problems File A better business complaint.. when i had the problems with my 360 i sent it in got back a refurb which lasted about 3 months sent it back and got the same crappy system back with the same problem so i filed a BBB complaint.. it took a little longer but i got a brand new system complete with contoller and accessories and it has worked great ever since.. its been about 1-1/2 years and i definately use it alot..
it's sad that the 360 is a great system to have these problems. |
