NBA 2k8 - Best basketball game thread

this game is awesome just needs a roster update i did most of the trades but i got bored doing that..

Can someone explain when to use the right analog stick and when to use x? Seriously nobody ever dunks, guys will have a wide open layup and do a reverse and nearly miss. And my defense is garbage. I try to clog the paint and make people shoot. This game is frustrating

Left trigger does lock down defense i believe which makes defense a lot better.

Try mixing up the 2-3 zone, man, and 1-3-1 d. I shoot with x but when i'm in the paint i use the shot stick. each direction does a different type of dunk as far as flashy, finesse, power, regular.

I just bought a ps3 to go along with my XBOX 360.....

I bought a ps3 because MLB the Show is the best MLB game on the planet right now and I felt left out......

My question is should I get NBA 2K8 for 360 or ps3???

Or is there really no difference???

and i have no idea which is which lol...2k7 explained every move in like a friggin booklet of like 10 pages lol. 2k8 doesnt tell you ****.

try it in practice mode with a high rated dunker and you'll be able to tell what does what.

Ever play an online game with mad people? That is some funny ish. Me and my boy played 2 on 3 and the 3 guys were unstoppable. They got like 20+ off. boards and everyone was cutting and picking. They used LAL but used backups most of the time and they still beat us. One dude was like 8-15 from 3pt with radmonivic and they had like 80002nd chance points lol.
