Hdtv Xbox 360 Question???!!!!

I hooked my xbox 360 up to the hhdtv in my room insignia 27 in and the picture is fine but theres no sound?anyone know how to help me?!!!!!!!!!!!!

the ones that came with it..i used to have an HD box with hd channels but i unhooked it put the system to them right HD settings on display and hit that switch in the back of the xbox on the cord.

The blue, green, and red are for the video ONLY. You still need to use the white and red for the audio. Or you can go with the optical jack like me.

Yeah, red and white jacks still need to be plugged in. Also remember if you want the best picture, to go to your xbox dashboard and go to the display option and put the HD setting on 1080i or p, assuming your TV can display it

ya i fixed it guys i just switched the white regular wire around and it worked...Thanks for all your help guys i would give u rep if i knew how lol but anyway i have it on 780....would it work on 1080??

It works on my TV. Try it and see. If your screen goes black when you switch it, just wait a few seconds and it will automatically switch back to its previous setting
