XBox 360 [Help Me Decide]

Well I"m kind of like you because I play Madden NCAA and nba games as well, so I don't need a lot of memory. I say get the 20 gb one if this is your situtation. The elite does look sick though in black I must admit that. When I got the XBOX360 when they didn't have the elite. I think with your case you should stick with the 20 GB.

That's what I did. I got the newest 20GB w/ HDMI (released in August) + Madden 08 from Amazon (not a seller). I got it from there because they dont charge for tax and I got free fast shipping. Im getting it tomorrow .

I just ordered the transfer kit + the play and charge from codejunkies. I couldnt find the transfer kit from any local store. It's all out. I got the transfer kit to transfer the NCAA 08 rosters to the xbox. I already got all the files ready.

Should I buy the intercooler?

nah the new 360s dont have as many problems I hear. Just dont shove em in an entertainment center surrounded by DVDs and cables and closed behind a glass door while you play it and you'll be fine. I've had my new one for 6 or 7 months now with some minor problems (wont read disks some times, USB door came off) but I have the 3 year Best Buy trade in warranty.

Also, good choice. The 360 has twice the FPS on Madden as PS3

I'll probably spend some extra welcome-home time with it today and I will see if it gets a little hot, If it does then I might buy the cooler just in case.

You'll love it at first but the bugs will get to you. This game is crap but since its the only NFL football game, I'm gonna keep playin it.

Man madden is different in the 360 than the original xbox. I wish if the commentary was a little better but anything is better than Al and John really. And the HD is beautiful. I still have to get used to the new controller though. I played on all pro and the bills killed me damn it. I used to dominate on all madden. Why did they put the draft import in the beginning of the season? That sucks. Now I have to wait til I get the transfer kit to put the NCAA rosters and sim through a season to get at least the 1st class. EA knows how to mess with you. The import should be just before the draft in the offseason.

Do y'all have any game recommendations? I played halo 2 when it came out so I'll probably get halo 3. What's the best car-racing game? I used to love those back in the day. Need For Speed sucks now so give me another suggestion.

Forza 2 is awesome. Gotta try it. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is really fun if you like military shooters. The new Project Gotham Racing looks fun too. NHL08 is lots of fun. Crackdown is kinda like GTA for the next gen if you like those games. They have another one too but I forgot what its called. You can personalize your character and its a real fun free roam game.

AND btw i hear you cant get past your 4th season in Madden in Franchise. Have fun finding all the bugs in the game. Beware the INTs, Fumbles, and injuries which plague every match.
