Just got..Xbox 360 Elite and Madden 08

Just got the 360 last night. Went to Delaware. 449.00 + two year warrnty(80.00 well worth it since if the system gives me the Red rings, or gets droped or anytype of damage happens to it I get a new one same with everything that was in the box.

It looks real sleek Im telling you.
all I have to do now is get the raider cover and Im set.


Now on to madden. I bought madden when it came out along with F.E.A.R since Toys R Us were having that deal. Where you buy madden get 50% off the next game.Then I bought a used copy of Saints Row

Madden has changed.ALOT.
I miss Madden and Michaels in the booth instead I get some unkown guy who calls the game after the play WTF.
I also havent figured out how to scramble with the QB anyone wanna tell me how please?
Its too easy to force fumbles I forced 3 in one game.
The defesne players are really smart.
Last years madden all I had to do was a pump fake and I'd be in the endzone with moss/porter not so much now. I pump fake throw int or bat down.
Im still getting used to how the running game works.

Any advice would be nice.

Take what the D gives you, if you a force a pass consider it picked off. The right trigger button is used to sprint as a qb or ball carrier. Bump the sliders if the fumbles are an issue for you. Don't outrun your blockers, chill on the turbo button and follow your blocks, then punch it for nice gains. Welcome to the 360 world, the systems and xbox live are awesome.

Do people still play FEAR online? That game has some killer multiplayer.

Actually for Madden , with the 07 version at least, to scramble w/ the QB you need to hit both trigger buttons and then (if your still behind the line of scrimmage) hit them again to bring up the passing options. Yes you can somewhat scramble by just hitting the right trigger but it's the actual running controls when you hit both triggers at the same time. Try it and tell me if it works.

Man I wish I was playing my 360 with you guys. Madden 08 is just sitting there until the friggin' 3-rings-of-death is fixed.

To scramble just hold RT. And as for fumbles, I never fumble only because I hit RB whenever I think I'm about to get tackled. Well not never, if I get hit sticked by like ray lewis obviously I have a high fumble percentage.

I think the D just plays really smart this year. PAssing is really hard now.

play superstar mode with a HB. Thats how i got extremely good at the run. You'll start seeing holes all the time. and get your finger off the right trigger. Dont use your speed burst until you break out of a hole.

This Year's Madden sounds hard, I guess thats good hopefully makes the game more realistic, it doesn't come out until the 24th over here
