2018 went to Russia, okay, but 2022 to Qatar??? What a joke!!

Its a global Fifa's plan of development football on the planet.Russia really need it.Dont know about Qatar.

Personally I didnt mind the choices.

I think Russia was a good choice, and hopefully getting the world cup will lead to highlighting some of their major problems(corruption, racism etc) and then help eradicate it.

As for Qatar it was a strange choice, but their bid was quite innovative, and if it can be ran without making massive losses, it could give hope to other smaller nations like my own(wales) that we to could hold a world cup or Euro's.

As currently we do not have the stadia. But if we could build them, dismantle them and sell them off like Qatar plan to do, then nothing is out of the question.

Qatar is buying european soccer

Lots of Qatari's prince or "emir" are buying clubs like Manchester City , Malaga , or Paris

They just want to show their country, and soccer is one of the best way to do it
