First round was something!

Funny thing about these tournaments, the objective is to get to the second round.

My boys struggled mightily (Italians) and then found a way to get in.

The Dutch finished the first round looking like the team to beat. However, you could be knocked out just like that.

Just ask the Portugese after another collapse.

Nice game by the Germans who are always good.

These next 3 games should be terrific.

The Italians will have to face Spain without Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo due to yellow cards. Ouch!

IMO ALL Soccer games that end in a tie at the end of regulation should have a shootout like they do in the NHL. Penalty Kicks/Shootouts are very exciting in Soccer.
