Ordered mine on Amazon, supposed to arrive on the 12th.. Still on the dinosaur PS2, but it still works and I ain't paying 4 or 5 bills for a new system.. F that..

Well I just played one game against the chiefs. I skipped that dumb IQ thing and put it on all Madden. I lost 17 to 7. CPU qb completion is definitely unrealistic at 85%. I think that is being addressed with a patch from EA soon though. There was really no pass rush from me or the CPU with the basic 4 man rush. Running game is ok. The defenders seem to take a step back before finally realizing that it is a run, but the final numbers were realistic for both sides averaging around 4 yds per carry. When moving your defender around before the snap, it almost looks and feels like he is gliding across the field. And the CPU late game AI is pretty dumb. They couldve run the clock out against me by just kneeling down but instead they keep running plays. Also overall, the game speed seems a bit slower than last year but to me that's a good thing. And you can totally see a size difference between players. Tony Gonzales looks huge when Aso tried tackling him one on one.

Madden on ps2 is still a GREAT game imo. The running game hasn't been there. Easy to get caught from behind and all but the passing game is MUCH better. It actually takes timing unlike NG when you can just hold down the catch button to user lol
