Apparently, EA somehow did not put any CPU sliders in the game!!!!! This is a huge no-no. How the heck can they do that?? Someone needs to get fired there. The day 1 patch BETTER fix this. To alot of us big Madden players this is unacceptable. I been playing madden since the Genesis days and have always made use of the CPU sliders since they were first introduced. Very disappointing and everybody on the gaming sites are rioting!! LOL

Im a huge Madden player and fan as most people know but tell me again whats cpu sliders just for everyone else who doesnt know

yeah they did that because you have to go through the virtual training center (or whatever the hell they call it). its a great addition but yeah its always inaccurate anyway.

aww cmon ABC, you're kidding right? You seem like a "sim" player also and Im sure you use the sliders also.

The sliders are there so the end-user can set the difficulty to his/her liking and also adjusts gameplay in general. And with Madden, this is an absoulute must have feature seeing that the game is pretty much unacceptable right out the box. From what I am reading, the NCAA super human QB issue has made it into the retail version of Madden, completing around 75% of passes each game. That IQ feature really doesnt do jack. Damn EA. Very disappointing.

that blows. i always fine tune the sliders to make the game more realistic than arcade mode.

this is were the madden IQ is gonna come in handy maybe they took them out for that reason.

Hey or24, check out operation sports forums. A lot of inside info from the dev team behind Madden. They were pretty much crucified because they knew about this and tried to keep it a secret. Check it out. Classic stuff was posted. LOL

I never got that far yet on my 2008 madden

i just now getting to the SB in season one from franchise mode.

but.. one thing i hate about the past few years on madden..
why in the hell can't you set your special teams?? i used to sign or draft certain players for blocking ect. and returns on my ST, but now they just automatic use a set group, which makes them get tired quicker.

bring back the ST set up,and the instant subsitutions!!

I agree Jimi. That's just one of a few things I miss. PS2 was great. I still like madden just as much on ps2 as I do on 360. I even bought madden 08 on both systems. Ps2 finally broke down though.

Believe me. Thats an issue that has the next gen Madden fans baffled as well. When I first switched from my ps2 to xbox 360, thats one of the first things I looked for, Formation Substitutions, and it was nowhere to be found. Hopefully they will get it right in the next few years.

Fred at SG was playing with the madden IQ and said he was having low scoring games then he turned it off and thats when he started to score more..

I hate how they wouldn't let you sub people in on different formations.
