Ncaa 09 I need to know

Does the defense hold leverage take good angles?
Line play, is there actual double teaming on the line, and blocking schemes more sophisticated?
How do the attributes affect the game, in previous ncaa's a player with speed rating of 87 could out run a defender with a speed rating of 95?
And the QB play, does arm strength actually reflect reality? in previous ncaa Qb with 85 arm could throw with seemingly the velocity and same distance as a QB with 95?
Can you become a lead blocker like madden?
Are the playbooks heavily upgraded, and more unique?
Is the computer AI stronger in Dynasty mode, when it comes to building teams?

This game is very flawed. To the point where you can probably say it is broken in many areas. A pass rush is non existent. Even if you blitz, more often than not, all your defenders will be flat on their back. Also, defenders won't really come attacking at a thrown ball. For example, if the offense does a curl route, the cornerback will just stand there a few yards off the wr and let him catch it, then he will attempt a tackle. And because of this you always are very unrealistic passing completion stats, like 23 for 25 or some crap like that. Kick and punt returns is a sure 30 yrd return on average. On kickoffs, expect to start your drive near midfield. Rushing the ball is pretty hard too. I have yet to rush do 100 yds in a game. All that being said, I somehow find the game to be addictive! At least playing online it is. Because of the flawed gameplay, I have played in many shootout games that have come down to the last play to decide a winner. You can save your highlights as well. I have ran into a few opponents that I have held to a TD only, but that is rare. If you're thinking of buying it and are a college football fan, I would get it. Oh yeah, and adjusting the game sliders doesn't seem to do anything! I think that's broken also.

I been thinkin about trying that game. Is there at least some kind of roster/team editing feature?? Or Create a team??

And back to NCAA topic, I previously stated in a post that I liked it better than madden 08..........well that initial feeling has worn off. Madden is much more realistic and better.

yeah the whole basis of the game is to create a team with unique strengths & weaknesses plus you can probably find it for 15 buck's it's a hell of a deal if you like a football game with realistic game-play now if you don't you probably won't like it

Let me break it down for you

When creating a team you have 11 slots There's a 240 player pool of past NFL players you get to choose from or you can create your own players.After you select your 11 players you then have to select what your generic players strengths will be you can't name your generic players which sucks.After that you choose your team logo,uniforms,city,name,stadium.Creating a player is simple plenty of options.Each created team starts off with the same basic playbook you must add the offensive formations & defensive sets that you want there's plenty of playbook options as well over 100 offensive formations all defensive sets.Bottom line buy the game if you don't like it your out 15 buck's if you do like it well you'll be having a lot of fun.

The game is fun to play but it is not realistic at all. It seems like no mater what kind of blitz package you throw, the offense will just pick it up. If you throw some zone coverage they find the holes. Its' like defense is almost non existent they made the computer AI way too strong.

On offense it's just unrealistic and I"ll tell you why. An average running back with the speed of an 85 can outrun the defense and break tackles. An average quarterback with an 82 for arm strength and a 79 for accuracy can launch it deep and it's usually right on target. USER CATCHES and USER PICKS are very easy unlike previous years.

The only positive I can tell you is that you have a wider selection of plays to choose from the playbook. Overall innitially I rated the game a 9/10 but aver the novelty wore off and I learned how to play the game on heisman, I give the game a rating of 8/10.

HOESTLY I'm going to go to Gamestop and trade it in for Madden 09 and get back $40. It's just too unrealistic. I can pick an average team like Michigan State University and tear it up on Heisman mode. In real ilfe Michigan State can't beat USC 63 to 0 or Ohio State 70-0.

I'm gonna buy that college game like I always do, export the graduating class and then trade the game in for Madden 09. Start a franchise and draft from the exported class and run the Raiders the way I want.

Resigning ASO is first priority!! lol
