I'm pretty sure they're just basing that record on the fact that our QB and probably starting RB are both rookies pretty much. They have the potential to perform well and win games, they just lack the experience. I'd say 4-12 is the extremely conservative prediction, while 8-8 or 9-7 is the optimistic prediction from the fans.

All Pro 2k8 only lets you play one season...

Who f'n cares what a video game simulation simulates. It has no actual relevance to what happens in real life. I mean, Madden rarely (if ever) has the correct rosters...
