Anybody else pick this one up yet? I did today and my initial impression is this is a worthy time burner while I wait for mercs2.

The game play is a little slower but you have a crew of four wise crackers that are reminiscent of Larry the Cable Guy meets Platoon. Not the dry humor of merc but rather more like..: if you play this game you may be a Redneck... Army Ranger.

Much blowing up of stuff and unbridled killing. Fun for all.



Not incredibly challenging yet but very entertaining.

And who doesn't like a smiley face on a hand grenade?

lol idk i played the demo and watched my friend play online..looked boring honestly. save your money for madden

I liked the demo. I rented it through Gamefly but can't play it right now because my 360 is getting repaired.

the demo was pretty fun. Much more running around for your lives than call of duty! LOL. I just wish these shooter games would allow you to have infinite ammo or reloads. I know that aint realistic, but it gets frustrating at times trying to find a decent gun on the floor from a dead soldier.

I actually think there should be less ammo. How many clips can you walk around with? I think you should have to conserve your ammo to a certain extent and no game really makes you do that. I can kill 10 people on cod before I need another gun and prolly 20 if its an lmg lol. gears of war you hardly ever need another gun unless you just need a BETTER one.

dont you like GTA 4 or Saints Row with the infinite ammo cheat and just go raising hell?? LOL

lol sometimes but it gets tired quick..real repetitive. I might sell gta and put money towards madden or something. I actually like saints row better than gta. I hated the driving in gta. too realistic lol. just ruined the game forme. Plus the missions were boring and the storyline was stupid in the beginning.

Yeah I'm in the less is more camp as well. I like limitations to ammo.

This isn't a serious game though by any means. It's a comedy disguised as a shoot 'em up. I'm sure there is/will be an unlimited ammo cheat among others. I never use them myself but for those who want mahem to rule, I'm sure they'll come through for you!!

I was really disappointed by Vegas 2 so this was a nice surprise for me - light entertainment - while waiting for the next Splinter Cell and of course the one I've been dying to play - Mercs2.

i have played this game since launch on june 24th and i still play it alot it is alot of fun onlne the single player is a good play thru but the online is spectacular.. i love sneeking up on people and knifing them then getting there dog tag as a reward

Yeah, it is fun to just go spraying everywhere, but of course I adapted to this kind of system of finding guns and ammo. I didnt like Vegas Six. I have the original and my bro has part 2 on ps3. Too much stealth type gameplay for my taste. Same for Spilnter Cell. I do look forward to Mercs 2 though. Looks pretty fun.
