Sheraton Red Lion is in the same parking lot as the stadium. Its not much, but it is close.

It is pretty pricey for a 2 star hotel but great view from rest/bar on top. Plus u dont have to pay for parking if you are staying the same night. If u r staying in downtown, they have free bus down the 16th street mall then u hope on the regualr metro train to teh stadium . Cost a few bucks.

Hey, Fade. Your location says Orange County, but you sound like a Denver transplant. Did you use to live out this way, or are you an original OC'er and now live in Colorado?

Red Lion is tight because there's a bar on the top floor, and you can kick it and watch the morning games and not worry about the croud...

No, just been out there a lot for the games. I actually like the town a lot as it is much different from OC. What can i say, it has grown on me. When i do road trips, It needs to have more appeal than just the game. That is why I love making this roadie. I know u live there so it is tough but i have never really had a problem with their fans. When i go to the bathroom or concessions, I just go str8 there and not mouth off regardless of the score. I will smack talk if their fans start it but it is just small time bantar. I do see so many of our fans act like idiots in the same situation. Once, I was in the South Stands, and one of our "fans" goes down the stairs, then while at the bottom walking to the tunnel, decides to start raising his hands in the air. Of course he gets booed, then starts to cuss out the fans. I was near the tunnel seeing this whole thing and just grabbed him in front of the tunnel and pulled him inside. I told him flat out that i dont need a young punk making us Raider fans look like A holes. I told him to respect someone else's house. We get a bad rap for a small but loud minority. It spills over to guys like me who knows how to act at a game. One thing i dont like is our THUG mentality. I love Al but i wish he would try to correct this image when we have home games. If you are going to the game, I should be there. Look for a Fargas jersey. It might be me.

Bk, the Holiday Inn downtown is pretty nice it is not too far from the Stadium. I always stay there when I go to the games. I am on standby for some club seat tickets for the game but I can still get rooms. Pm me if you need some. jb

We will definitely be there. Most Denver fans can be quite the redneck a holes, but the ones by us usually just give us the normal razing. We give it back and no big deal. The South stands are rougher as invariably it is filled with drunks that cannot hold their liquor. In the old Mile High stadium, I saw a Squeeler fan get tossed over the edge. Busted him up real bad. You probably saved that guy from a similar fate. I will most likely be wearing my white away Freddie B. jersey. This will be the first time in a long time that I have been up there when it was not totally freezing. I am thankful we got them early this year.

Sunday during the day is supposed to be nice. High of 71. Low at night will be 47. Not too bad, but may need a jacket at night. There's no humidity here as you know, so the Highs are not as warm as you would think and the lows are not as cold.

nice to meet some of the raider fans. A bus full of fans came from Texas --Pretty cool. Saw Spike and Raider Ron at the tailgate with Barrelman. I dont think he drinks anymore. Those days are done for the barrel. Good host to this Raider fan. I would extend the offer to those Donkey fans in Oakland.
