Listen people, Spider is no longer hosting tailgates with the exception of the annual one. He needs a break and wants to relax as well. He's put in his time so to speak. So we all respect that and appreciate all he's done for us in the past.

Now we've talked about getting together for the whiner game but it seems all people want to bring is beer, which isn't a bad thing

but come on. I know these are preseason games so some may be just getting off of work, etc. but come regular season we need to figure something out. Meaning we have an Official RF Griller, an Official RF drink maker, an Official I'll bring the carne asada person, an Official Salsa Maker, etc. No need for an Official Ceviche Maker because that would be me.

I have my own regular tailgate but I'd like to party down with you all as well. Let's get it together people. Anyone in??

I'll be the Official garbage disposal. I'll eat all the leftovers so they don't get stuck in somebodies fridge for months or go bad.

Jus' kidding.

I'll see if I can go but I have work and school to worry about but if I can make it, I'll see what I can bring to the table. (No pun intended).

We have other options, we have been invited to join another tailgate. But it's
$25 per person and byob It has all the food you could ever eat and it has Tv's, music and a private bathroom......

If we can get a commitment from local members then we'll put together our own regular tailgate.....if not.....you're on your own.

Hell, if I was local, I'd do $25 no problem... Of course, if I was local, I might not be able to afford $25 since I would be living in the bay area

Next year I plan on coming down for at least one other game (besides the tailgate game) so hopefully you guys can come up with a plan.. Especially since I gotta try and drink Rhode under the table every time I'm down there...

Spider has more than put in his time for the site. He and Arlo have hosted the members for the last few years at cost to themselves between the time for preparation and cost. I truly want to thank you both for the wonderful hospitality you have extended to us. That being said hopefully we can keep the tradition going. I will be at the Niner tailgate and am down for helping organize something. The Lions game is an evening game on a Thursday night and the opening night is a 7pm game. I get off work at like 4pm so I will not even get a space in the lot. Let see if we can get the locals such as myself to plan them. We need a couple people per game or someone that had 2 vehicles so we can get 2 spaces for us.
