I have a question about my trip to Cali in September: I'm flying in on Friday and staying at the Hilton. On Monday, I've driving to Fresno to visit friends before I fly back on on Wednesday. So obviously I'm going to need a car to drive to Fresno. Am I going to need a rental during my time in Oakland?

ummm it depends what you are going to do?? if your not taligating id say no, because I believe the Hilton has a shuttle to the game. Maybe for a couple days if you want to go any where??

Julie unless your planning to see the Bay Area or SF on Friday or Saturday then I would say no. As bgrn said cab fare to and from Rickys and maybe not even that. Hopefully some of us locals and out of towners with rentals can shuttle around our out of town sisters and brothers.

Thanks...you guys have answered my question. I won't get my rental until Monday when I drive to Fresno. You guys have saved me $9.75 in parking a day. Maybe I'll have to find those who have helped at Ricky's and buy ya one!
