From the HOT to the Hilton on Game day... what would be the best way to get there after the game Oct 1st????

I was thinking about renting a car, but then I also remember the Hotel I stayed last year, had a rental place there.... I have a room at the Hilton already, but I thought if i rented a car saturday-Sunday, i can drive to the rental place, and walk into the game, but just wondered if some public transportation went back to the Hilton?

or if one of you kind members could give me and 9bucker a ride?

My plan is to have a rental car. Don't know of all my plans, but if it would work to pick you up, then the offer stands.

cool... i will keep it in mind!

I am going to rent a car, for Saturday/sat. night... maybe Friday if i get there early, I may need to party all night until i get in my Hotel Saturday

but I think i may take the car back Sunday before the game, and then just hang out after the game near the HIlton... I should have a shuttle back to the airport on Monday.

If that's the game against the Browns... Twysted and I will be driving up so if you need ride maybe we could pick you up.

IDK? thats kinda what i was thinking... but I had a genius, and sat and had a "Brilliant" Idea.....

the place i rent it from, is in a hotel... i can park the car in the space, like i am returning it, but since I still have it rented, i can walk over to the game... then walk back, and get in my rental and go back to the Hotel....

but... this will require me to rent it 2 days which I was going to avoid, and now I am thinking with my fingers (or out loud, you make the call) so.....

I am sure many of us will be at the Hilton.... just was curious If BGRN would carry my luggage if need be?

Just get a ride with Kita and Wifee, worked for me and ccRaider and chitown last year

They found some bad-ass FREE parking too..

I did that from the Hilton when I flew down for the KC game in Dec 04... Not a bad walk, but after pounding many, many, beers the night before, not a GOOD walk either..

Took about a half hour/45 min..

Take the Shuttle back. Only costs like 5 or 10 bux. Leaves from the Hilton and takes u to the game, and then u get a ride back after.

Only problem with that is the shuttle doesn't start till two hours before kickoff, so it'll cut into you're tailgating time. THAT'S why I walked from there a couple years ago. Here it was 8am and I'm ready to get to the stadium, but they said no shuttles till around 11am. So I hoofed it.. Found "oaktownjc"s tailgate, and was good to go. Nothing like throwing down beer and dead animal meat at 9am..

Walking from the Clarion Inn is not too bad... I will drive to the clarion Inn and walk from there...

shuttle is 10 bucks round trip,starts 2 hrs before the game.if you want to go earlier you can buy a shuttle ticket and just use it for the ride home.up to 3 hours before the game they shuttle you to the bart station for free that runs every half hour.thats what i did last year and you can get to the tailgate early and then can get on the shuttle for the ride home
