I was just on the OFMA site and the parking lots will NOT open 5 hrs before kick-off this season. The gates will open 4 hrs before kick-off.

So who the hell says we gotta wait to get inside the gates to start drinkin? We started a little early last year as I recall

Rather than drinking faster, you can always pre drink and have some sap as your designated driver. Beer prices at football games are a joke anyways. No I will not pay $5 a beer when I can get a 20 pack on sale for like 16 bucks or regular price for like 20 bucks. My friends and I just each chip in $5 and buy a 20 pack adn drink between the four of us. Then one guy always gets stuck being the designated driver but we hook him or her up with food. It is a USC tradition with my buddies. I wished I went to Cal just to be close to Oakland to watch the Raider games, but I didn't get accepted. It's crazy hard to get in their program so I miss out on Raider games living in SC.

People start tailgating Friday night, so I'm sure it won't be to bad but who knows. I bet the public lots will be a mess for the first game.

$5 beers!? Not in Oakland, it's more like $7.50 a beer.
