Which parking lot do you prefer?

My Buddies and I are getting ready for the big weekend. There are four of us driving down Saturday before the Raiders vs Steelers game. We have our hotel rooms at the Marriott City Center. Picked up some killer seats from stubhub, sittin on da fiddy. We have our portable Webers,ice chests,tri-tips, bratz,beer,&sodas all set and ready to go. Then out of the blue my friend says " Which parking lot are we going to tailgate in?" I told him I wasn't sure. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thanks, Big Jeff.

I've never been to the Coliseum so I wouldn't know.

Your on the 50 it does not matter that much are you going to get a parking pass or are you paying general admission. If I were you I would get a parking pass. A or B lot does not matter. If you don't get a pass I would be at the stadium an hour before the parking lot opens (6 hours before kickoff). I park in A lot and I am very used to it. Some things have changed with parking but I am not up on everything since I did not go to the 1st game.

Look on Barrys Tickets, Stub Hub or another online site. They are expensive.

Parking for Reserved parking is $35. I would assume General Admission is the same but you better be in line early to get parking.

It was 35 last year for general parking.

As for which parking lot I assume you mean the north or the south lot. Ran is taking about the north lot when he says lot A or B. I also prefer the north lot. Its easy to get into (though it can take a while with traffic) and it is bigger because of all the motor homes and busses in the south parking lot. I used to always park to the left side after entering the main gate but several years ago they made that side much smaller for the reserved/ handicap parking. So you have to really have your timing right to get over to that side in the small area they leave for general parking. So now we usually end up accross from the basketball stadium instead. Not a huge deal either way once you get in the north lot. But getting out after the game is much easier from the left side of the gate (left as you enter that is)

If you want to experience "Early Line Up", it starts 2 hrs. prior to the gates opening. This year the gates open 5 hrs. prior to Kick Off. All Early Line Up is, we all form a couple of columns of cars, get out and chat it up with whoever, while we wait for the gates to open. I'm in Lot D with "Parking Lot Jack" 1st stall, 1st row and we enjoy doing it cause it's tradition since we came back home and cause its a fun experience with some great people. Just a thought....
