    Seating Recommendation

My dad and I are both life-long Raider fans and are coming down from Toronto for our first game in Oakland (Chargers on Monday Sep 10). I'm shopping on stub hub for tickets and don't really care how much I have to pay as I just want great seats and a great experience. Currently, I'm debating between somewhere in the Black Hole (better experience, I imagine) versus somewhere in 114-116 (better view of game, I would assume).

Any thoughts/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

If you sit in the Black Hole plan on standing up the whole game. If you want to sit in the Hole and not standup then order tickets above row 25. This goes for any section in the first deck if you want to see the game. Sections 114-116 are going to be pricey if you can get them. Again if you don't want to stand up the whole game get seats above Row 25 unless you want to see the players up close but you will not have a good view of the game. Anywhere you sit will be a great experience it is a MNF Opener against the Chargers after all. Just get your tickets soon cus they will sell this game out pretty soon an the prices will go up more from a ticket broker.

That is a great point about the brokers upping their prices when the game sells out - thanks. That means I have to decide a lot sooner.

I don't plan on sitting down for anything so that is not a factor. Originally, I was leaning towards lower level 40 yard line (114-116) but now I'm giving more serious thought towards the Hole. How bad is the view of the field there? Does the atmosphere and experience make up for it? Also, any particular spots in the Hole better than others?

Sections 103-105 Rows 1-20 are considered the "Black Hole" you will have to stand the whole game to see anything. To me the Hole is not the same due to a lot of people just wanting to sit there not the original members. You can sit anywhere between Sec 101-107 above Row 25 and have a great view of the game. Personally I sit in the opposite end zone in the 2nd deck because I prefer the view and the overhang (rain, hot weather).

Those are fine. You will be standing up the whole game though.

It's a fun experience sitting there, I just hate not being able to see the game.

I sit in the Black Hole and it's a great time every Sunday/Monday. If you do sit in the Black Hole, you will be standing the whole time but it's well worth it. It will good to see another family member show up to the Nations house Welcome!
