Who else besides me plans on driving down to the Raiders Steelers game. It is opening day for the league and the first time our Raiders get to show off their skills. who wants to get together and purchase tickets sitting next to each other so we can cheer as a group. leave a message and we can work out the details, and get the best price for tickets. its about a 7 hour drive to Heinz field from Connecticut, and its a 1pm game. heres what i plan on doing, saturday around 8am instead of driving straight to Pittsburgh I'm going to head to canton Ohio, and check out the NFL Hall of Fame. Canton Ohio is also a 7 hour drive and its only a 2 hours from Heinz field in Pittsburgh. imagine checking out the hall of fame on saturday and watching the Raiders Hall of Famers on sunday oh yeah! after i check out the hall of fame im driving to pittsburgh and getting a room and a good night sleep before the game. tailgating early sunday morning and watching the Raiders win 45-0. yea now thats a good road trip! and the best way to experience a opening day, especially if youve never been to the hall of fame. i have been their once and i am going again sept on 11th!
here is the link to buy tickets off ebay http://search.ebay.com/search/search...osortorder%3D1 here is the ticketmaster link http://www.ticketmaster.com/browse?r...nge&category=8 heres the seating chart http://www.steelers.com/facility/ind...?cont_id=61190 Last edited by bigtonydar8r; 05-11-2004 at 02:01 AM. |

Thanks for the info Big T
I havent decided which game i am going to yet. Really want to make my 1st trip to Oakland this year vs Bucs. If that doesnt work out, i will be at an away game, maybe Pitt or Carolina. I usually leave Friday to greet the team at thier hotel, always a great time. Canton would be great for Saturday if going to Pitt. Then the game, and a win on Sunday, how perfect of a weekend is that??

Please keep me posted on what section you guys get tickets in, as I have a buddy Raiders fan who would go with me and wants to sit with other Silver and Blacker backers. Are tickets on sale yet? Drop me a message at rmbriggs3@yahoo.com if anyone's got plans yet. I've never even been to an NFL game (thus, never a tailgate party), even though I live in near Erie, PA, and am within two hours of Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo!

Big Tony, last year we made the pilgrimmage to Cleveland from Sacramento for the game against the Browns. We went to the Hall Of Fame the day before and it was awesome. It was a trip I will never forget for the rest of my life. In fact I have goose bumps just mentioning it. I'm sure many of my Raider brothers and sisters know what I am saying. You will love it.

it looks like most tickets available are in the 500s but i guess that is better than nothing. i am bidding on 4 tickets in the 200s now they are expensive but the seats are cool. i hope i get them. the unfortunate thing is we might be outbidding each other lolol. oh well Just Win Baby
