Anyone planning to fly Continental Airlines in or out of Oakland

They are stopping service in and out of Oakland Airport as of Sept 1 2008. The are still going to operate out of SF but that is too much travel for me. I just had to scramble to rebook my flight to New Orleans. I did check out many options and ended up with United and a later returning flight which is probably OK. Cost me $10 more than the original but all the other options were considerably more. My layover is in Dungover so I will be sure to wear my Raider Ran jersey in and out of New Orleans.

Ran, my wife is trying to book a flight on a Continental partner that will take my frequent flyer miles for the trip in for the tailgate. I believe the partner is Alaskan Airlines. Do you know if they are still flying through Oakland?

American Airlines is leaving Oakland in September.....I already had to change my flights to SFO......but they changed it to almost the exact times going and coming back....
