Raiders@ Baltimore
Do any of you plan on going to this game? It's October 26, and will be my first time attending anything other than a highschool football game. Me and a couple of friends are catching a train, and might check out the harbor later. I think we agreed on upper middle seats. How are those? Anyhow, please let me know if any of you are coming. Go Raiders

I will probably go to this game as it is driveable for me. Check out the DCMRaiders.com website as they will surely be hosting a tailgate for the game.

Yeah, about tailgating, could you please explain how that works? I've never been to one nor do i understand the concept. Looks just like a party outside of the stadium

I hope you don't mind me asking how old you are?
I just find it hard to believe that any football fan would be unfamiliar with tailgating.
Anyway, it's exactly what you think it is, a party outside the stadium in the parking lot. Maybe the part that confuses you is timing. Tailgates occur before and sometimes after the game itself, but usually not during. People usually get to the Stadium as early as they can to start tailgating. I would recommend at least three hours - so if the game starts at 1:00 pm, you want to be at the tailgate by 10:00 am at the latest.
The DC Metro Raider Boosters put on good tailgates. You're likely to meet at least 150 Raider fans at their tailgate in Baltimore.
Please let me know if any further explaination is required.

Haha you are right, I am young. I'm a sophomore in highschool, I'll be a junior by the time of the game. Like i said, this is my first time attending any sport event besides a highschool football game. I've heard of stories during the tailgate, things that have happened. Watched a few videos and all, and of course I knew it wasn't during the game. It's hard to beleive people would stand outside while the game is going on. I really just didnt know how they are organized, and where to go. I mean i wouldn't just walk by like hey can i come hang out with you random people. Timing was another question i had, but you answered that well. Thanks

Just continue to come back to the Tailgate thread in the forum, and you'll see for yourself how these things come together.
Also, I think the more games you attend, the more you'll realize that Raider fans love to hang out with other Raider fans, regardless of whether they've ever met each other before. It really is a lot of fun.
