Hey all. Die-hard Texans fan here with a question for Raider Nation. Some of the best face painting I have seen is in the Black Hole and in Seattle.
My fiance' used to paint the Texans logo on my face, but now she's busy on game day:

I have switched to stage make up - much more durable and easier to apply.
I draw lines with eyeliner and I apply the make up with make up sponges. I usually do it just before kickoff (I have yet to try and see if it can survive 5 hours of tailgating, sun, and 3 hours in the stadium). Takes me about 15-20 minutes.
Sadly, my design is rather simple:

I was wondering how y'all do the more complex designs? Do you do it yourself? How do you keep from smearing colors into each other? How long does it take? when do you apply it and what do you use?
Any help at all is appreciated. Good luck this week. Please try not to injure any of our players!!!! (sadly, there's almost NOT any sarcasm in that....)

Thanks to Bill Williams for the Sig![]()
Wow, I have paint envy. Fortunately, being only 5 and a half years old, we haven't lost any of our close family yet.
Even this would take me quite some time (left or far right, middle I could do):
Sadly, as I REALLY tried to build my costume everything I wanted to add got scrapped because I found I was copying y'all :/ LOL
THIS is an art:

That is some great face paint there. Sorry to hear about your loss.
My buddies Skel and Skulls, Vodoo Man probably are equipped to answer this. What specifically do you want to know?
It actually doesn't take that long to paint your face, as I used to paint mine years ago.
