Al Davis doesn't fire great coaches...I don't understand this guy's logic. I don't understand how any of this relates to the Raiders. Just another far-fetched excuse to bag on the Raiders - as usual. As "raidertake" would say: "this is news you can't use".

i hate schottenheimer worse than the chargers for sure! It was worse losing to them with that idiot at the helm- I was looking forward to beating him next year though! As for the chargers they just may be in for a rude awakening when they see just how much such a shakeup in the coaching staff can affect on the field team chemistry!

I haven't read the article but it is somewhat similar to Davis driving Gruden so nuts that he wanted to leave a team headed for the SB.

However firing Marty was the right move for SD. He's a good coach if your team is losing 10-12 games a year and you need to turn things around. Then when you get to 10-12 wins a year you can him and get someone who can take you the rest of the way. He's proven time and time again that he can't seal the deal.

Now that **** pisses me off. 95% of the time I don't even bother listening to media outlets hating on us because there's no point, whatever we do is gonna be scrutinized no matter what.
