Gallery is a "Bust" Threads Merged.......

Honestly, if Art Shell can't "fix" him, who can? I was very disappointed in his play tonight. I am VERY worried that he is going to get beat all season.

He had help on one play, and still got beat. I don't like to cry "bust" very often...
and people here keeps making excuses for him. He needs time, he isn't in his natural position, he needs time to adjust back to his natural position, it's a new staff, blah blah blah.

How much time before he is an official "bust"? How well/bad are the others we passed on at his position?

Someone please enlighten me.

give him some time its the preseason if hes getting punkd like that in our last pre game then he needs to be pulled.

Sims needs to go back to LT, Gallery back to RT. Just is not working well!

We all need to be careful what we ask for, we asked for Gallery at LT now we got him. If he cannot learn from the best in the field (Art, Irv and Slater) then see if a rookie like Boothe can learn from them he is from a Ivy league school he should know how to pay attention if anything eles.

Gallery needs playing time at LT thats the only way he is going to get better. He needs to work on his footwork and I think he needs to add more muscle to his frame.

It's starting to look like he just doesn't have the ability. Walker is overwhelmed too. Let's hope Art can fix this. hopefully they aren't too married to their #2 pick to do what might need to be done. Robert Gallery is starting to become synonymous with Tony Mandarich in my head..

I agree completely. They arent running motion and movement plays or running audibles, you know things that take time to learn. All Shell is wanting them to do is straight up "block" the plays are pretty simple calls. It seems it dosent matter what play is called run or pass they all are beat on most plays.(Sims is doing his job it seems, correct me if im wrong). It is a concern because NOTHING will work if they cant execute simple blocking.
