I stated "It IS only one game"..yet..I guess that part escaped you guys.

Also stated 'after week 1".

Said nothing about the regular season. I'm referring to how both teams qb's are looking for preseason.

BTW..yeah..you can see how a PLAYER will perform during the season compared to preseason. Not a team, of course, too many intangibles. But if a dback is giving up lots of deep balls during preseason, he'll continue to do so. If a qb is missing badly, same thing.

Of course, as I stated, it's only game one. AND..Brooks gets an extra game to "tune up", so he could turn it around.

You best hope he does.

Your smack is weak...and your choice of teams even weaker. I mentioned "ball$", cause you cant seem to pick one team to root for. Instead, because your one team sucks, you have to pick another. But then, that doesnt make much since either cause your 'other' team sucks too. Im sure as a sparkler fan, you could teach the raiders all about being able to suck, and to suck right. The dolts always have sucked, and always will. Still not even a stinkin superbowl win...not even one. You can just feel the rich history of that sorry ass team. C'mon Mikey, I know you don't really believe that. It's the 1st preseason game with 4 more to go, not to mention a full regular season.

Brooks is with a better team now, and historically he has done very well when facing the Niners. I know you have seen this.

As for the Niners and Smith, I watched that game, and Smith looked vastly improved. The OL looked good too. Last year Smith had the 'deer in the headlights' look on the field, but so far this year he looks very calm and comfortable, as well as in control of his offense, especially against last year's #2 defense in the NFL.

So you should be happy. I expect both Bay Area teams to have a much better season this year.

Oh..I know..all of you were just so sure Smith would come out and stink up the place, even though I assured you he wouldn't.

And I know watching our O line protect his ass, while he looked light years ahead of that 'quality signing that the Saints oddly benched, Aaron Brooks" can't give ya warm and fuzzies up to this point.

Of course, it's only one game.

I'm sure Smith played WAY over his head

and Brooks will now "really shine" on Monday night.
