Hall of Shame -- Raiders ruin the day
Hello Raiders fans.

Well, I was looking forward to the Hall of Shame Game today to see how the Raiders handle the Eagles.

The first two drives looked pretty bad.

The Raiders got a nice pick once they took McNabb out of the game, but getting a false start right away says, "So much for Art Shell instilling discipline", but is that really a surprise?? I mean, Art was coach when the Raiders had their worst penalty year ever.

Anyway, I look forward to another year of watching the Raiders with their heads tilted back looking up at the rest of the division.

Thanks for the smack ammo.

Welcome Owl, good to see you taking smack in this neck of the woods. Yes, after those first few drives we should hang it up and get regulated to Pop Warner. Let's all base the future on 1/4 of the first game of a new era as we reminisce when the Broncos of yesteryear took their time to rid themselves of their annual pathetic play that defined their miserable franchise.

Hello, Devilspawn. Smack talk is fun on most forums.

Yeah, I hear you. Patience is a virtue after all, but I'm just glad that I don't have to have as much patience to watch my team play as the Raiders fans have to have to watch your team play.

I've got to hand it to you, though. Anybody who is a Raiders fan right now must be VERY virtuous.

Takes some of the edge off of your reputation. ;)

It's good news for you Raiders fans that your fifth stringers are better than the Eagles' fifth stringers.

Still, your starting units looked pretty poor when the Eagles starting units were out there as well.

Maybe you'll have a better showing next time, but that was a poor showing.

it's PRE-SEASON!!!...we have four more games to our get stuff together, until they start counting pre-season games as regulars then STFU

Well, the preseason is the first chance that we have to watch NFL action and to attempt to judge how teams that we watch will play.

Look, I'm not expecting you to jump off of a bridge because you played ****ty on your first game in the preseason, but it certainly couldn't have been encouraging to you. And it's not like you just had one bad game after a good season. Rather, it was more like you didn't show us that you'd be anything different than the 4-12 bumbling team that couldn't win a single game in the division (Not even against the Chargers).

Hope that you do better against Minnesota. I'd like to see you steal at least one from the Chargers and Chiefs next year.

The difference is that I have to worry about my favourite team improving enough to go from a team that JUST came up short of the Superbowl to a Superbowl team while you guys have to worry about a team that just came short of winning a single game in the division.

Really, us Broncos fans have a reason to be excited. The Raiders fans can only realistically be hoping to be rooting for a mediocre team at years end.
