LT injury?

Just heard LT sustained a neck injury during practice. Something about having his head too far up his ass. But seriously, hope he can play Sep.11th so we can show him some real hurt.

It's not a serious injury. Right end Igor Olshansky tackled LT a little too hard. Guess it's a sign the Chargers' No. 1 run defense is going to be even better this season. LT is going to sit for a day or two. Remember behind LT is Michael Turner, who may even be a tougher runner inside.

Olshansky is a big greasy fuker... Your front 7 will be tough to run on, but we'll loosen the boys up with some bombs down field. Then Lamont, who is a bit stronger than LT (power wise) will drag Donny Edwards for about 6 yards. Hahah, just prognosticating, but we'll see... 9/11 should shape up to be a nice battle...

You got this about right. Donnie's strength is pass coverage -- I think he has more INTs than any of our defensive backs over the past 4 seasons. He did lead the team in tackles last season, but those tackles usually come after being dragged 5 or 6 yards, unfortunately. That is why his on the trading block, and there is a good chance he will be gone when the season starts.

I seriously doubt Donnie will be gone before the season starts....This will be his last season in SD....after that, he'll be gone. He's not getting traded or cut before the season starts though....That's highly unlikely....

lamont is a fat weak back who doesnt run with any power. For someone his size, he should be lowering his helmet tryng to run over people, but he trys to be a fat finess RB, which isnt a good combo. His size is nothing, Ive seen Tomlinson run over and through people....something Lamont isnt capable of.

I think he's going to be on the trading block through the deadline in October. If a team loses a linebacker to injury in the preseason, I think AJ will deal him to that team if it's desperate enough to give up a third round or higher pick.

LT was out there running with the first team in full gear at practice today.

He'll be 100% for the Oakland game, no worries.
