Chargers team to beat this year?
All I know is that Defense is gonna be scary...especially the pass rush. Yes, Moss will take them deep for a TD at least twice year though as Jammer will be owned, but they are solidly 2 deep across their front seven

On Offense...who could not throw the ball to Gates and hand off to LT 85% of the time and not be respectable?

Chargers win it all this year people. Chiit goes in cycles and it's their time to peak. Hopefully Rivers is just Gawd-Awful and they have to start Feeley...

Down here on the local news they had Marty on tv live, he was saying Rivers is looking good so he says... all I gotta say is the chargers are only gonna anywhere as long as Rivers drives them there.

i agree, they look very strong but the way Rivers plays will rely heavily on how the succeed

Doesn't matter because their secondary can't cover anybody. Cromartie is going to be a bigger project than Nnamdi was. He only started one game in his college career. Sure the guy has talent, but who in the NFL doesn't?

I agree when some of you guys say it will all come down to how Rivers plays. We should take advantage of his inexperience playing in a regular season game from the get-go.

When you go into a new season and prognosticate, the smart thing to do is look at the defending champion. That's Pittsburgh.

Ok. Now you know your team to beat. Until they are beaten, they are the best team in the NFL.

The Chargers did not win the division and finished 9-7. That was with Drew Brees, who has been all pro.

Will Rivers be an all pro? I doubt it. He will be a young guy who will struggle at times.

Fortunately for him, he is on a good team. The best in the West? No. That goes to Denver.

They finished 13-3 and played in the AFC Championship game. How did they get worse?

Use logic and it makes more sense.

How you finished last year dosn't always equate into where you will finish the next year.

What's the make up of your team and did you improve it or did you have key losses that will weaken it?

Jury is out on our guys. Although after 4-12, how low can you go?

4-12 to 12-4? Unlikely.
