Damn right Linq. That officiating was horrible. I'll give the Ben goal line TD, he looked in but the phantom holding call on that pass to the Steeler 1 was a joke and it changed the momentum of the game, Seattle seemed to lose their cool after that. The biggest issue was really the no-calls though, I saw holding all over the Pittsburgh line that wasn't being called. Sure seemed like the fix was in. Odd thing is it was in against Pitt vs. Indy, they probably whined enough after their victory over them to have the league whisper to the SB crew to lighten up on them. And did they ever lighten up on them.
Next year though they won't have Bettis to wear down d-lines with repeated clock killing runs to kill games nor the refs to gift wrap every important call, Big Ben will have to convert all those key 3rd downs on his lonesome and guess what, I don't think he can once they finally have to rely on him. He's good, he's not great though. Over-rated, he made one nice play in the SB, that's it. Sorry, no Joe.
Steelers will not repeat nor dominate, they lost 5 regular season games last year, lost their division and were a cheap-shot injury, a lucky shoelace and history's worst SB officiating away from going home empty-handed in the playoffs too. if nobody else does first, NE kicks them out of the top AFC slot this year.
Let them come to your stadium, then beat their teams asses as they cry their way out to the parking lot with 10 to go, they aren't all that.
