Jets win with special teams

FYI RAIDER fans....

I am obviously a fan of the Gang Green. I believe that the Raiders are the ONLY team in the NFL that are better than the Jets but not by much. I believe both teams are very potent on offense with outstanding QB's and play very similar styles of defense. They wash each other out. However, look for Chad Morton and Santana Moss returning kicks to be the difference. They are a threat to take it to the house EVERY time they touch the ball. Yes, Moss will return punts not Morton (for those of you who think Morton returns punts because of the Monday night game) It will be similar to the way the Patriots beat Pittsburgh last year in the AFC title game. I am looking forward to a great battle. Your thoughts?

The Jets special teams are fantastic and definitely pose a problem for the Raiders who have been giving up big returns this year. The other problem for the Raiders is the health of their secondary vs. a very deep and talented Jets WR corps.

The Raiders meanwhile pose their own threats to the Jets chances. The Raiders offensive line is big and talented. They have swallowed up smaller defensive lines this season and the Jets don't have the size to match up. That puts the Jets in a bind. Do you blitz, because you can't give NFL MVP RIch Gannon all day or he will kill you? But if you blitz you are risking leaving one of Oakland's 5 or 6 great weapons open. On defense the Raiders are also #3 against the run so it looks to be a long day for Curtis Martin.

This should be a great game.
