Hmmm..so..you're saying you would be happy with a Rattay? He won a few games, so even though he was personally responsible for losing 6 games, HIMSELF, in the 4th quarter because of last drive interceptions badly thrown, or fumbling the game away, we should keep him because of those couple he won?
Naw...I would rather see how our drafted qb does. That's why you draft them. You know..let them PLAY..SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO. If they can't handle it, then you move on, and get someone who can. You DON'T keep them around because they won a couple of games. Well, if YOU laughed, then why comment on my laughing? Yeah, Shell has a better record. Only problem is, with the cast the Raiders had on the field at that time, many INCLUDING AL, thought his records should have been a lot better. Oh..BTW..George Seifert had a better record too..and as everyone found out, he sucked as a coach. Players, however, were pretty good, just like the Raiders had when Shell was around. Sometimes the players win, in spite of the coach.

All this coming from a team whose owners are happy just to be in the ownership club and couldn't build a winning team if his life depended on it. Since neither his life or his income depends on it he would rather just continually build crappy teams knowing that people still come out for the memories of HoFers long gone.

Brooks may not be a great QB, but we don't have a lot invested in him and can see what we have in Walter or Tui, but you guys have the future invested in a NUMBER ONE PICK QB who can't hold onto the ball.
