I have never been angrier than I am right now at any post since I joined RF.net. I am a raiderfan, win lose or draw. What are you? If free agency was what you were counting on to make us an instant contender, you are confused. You do NOT threaten to give up on "your" team for any reason, imo. What has happened? Nothing. We passed on some overrated, injured, name brand players who are selling themselves to the highest bidder. WE ARE ONLY $11 mil under the cap, for christssake! Who were we going to bring in that would instantly spell playoffs for you? Did you hear them say we would not be a big player in the first week of FA? We were huge players in FA last year, and still ended up with a 4-12 season.
It is starting to llok like the problem with our team might be some of our FANS.
Go and be a Charger fan, if you think that is the road to nirvana for ya. Your posts will fit right in on their boards.I think we would be better off without all the snivellers that do not understand what "fan" means. Or what a fan is. In case YOU have forgotten, Al put together the teams you are describing. ART WAS ON THE TEAMS YOU ARE DESCRIBING.

I sure will. And the season after that. And the next season. I will watch for you complaining on the Chargers boards by then. It is EASY to be a fan if your team wins every year. It gets a little harder at this point. Some people are just not up to the adversity.

i guess you are frustrated like me and i dont blame you. ill go for raiders if we go 0-16 but the draft cant fill all our holes. i think thats why the other teams are improving their team thru fa. how do we expect to get better when we dont even try. all of you depend on al but its not getting us a championship. i sure you are a raiders fan and not chargers but im tired of the whole football world looking at the raiders as a joke. if we arent active in fa we will be last in the west again diehards. im from va and im tired of hearing about all the east coast teams.

Calm down J! This guy clearly doesn't have a clue about football. It's one week into FA and he is all ready giving us a 0-16 season.

And even if we did go 0-16 (which would never happen) I would still wear my Silver and Black proudly!! I would still fly in to attend a couple of games. I would still be a die hard fan. To even think of saying you would turn into a Charger fan, he loses all credit right there!!

Sorry, Kita. You are correct. I am just furious over all the bs around here the last couple of days. Everyone seems on the verge of mutiny over nothing, imo. The parade has not even begun, and the the stupid forecasters are already telling us to produce umbrellas.

I should spend less time here, maybe. Then I would miss out on some of this nonsense.

Not to mention of that $11M, about $4-4.5M of that is dedicated rook pool salary cap. So we really have about $7M for FA.

I dont want overhyped overpaid FA - just because bandwagoners and the football clueless want a huge signing in the first few days. I'd rather bide by time and get the solid gems that will give solid depth to the team. THen next year we continue to upgrade.

Well, I can't say a whole lot that hasn't already been said, but here goes:

"99.99% sure" is not good enough; you're either a Raider fan or you're not. So get on you're powder blue frilly panties and go right ahead and jump on that Chargette bandwagon- I'm sure they've got plenty of room.

And ANYONE crying and bitching about our moves (or lack thereof) in f*cking MARCH needs to get a f*cking life and realize how the OFF-SEASON works. We're not even finished with the first week of Free Agency and you're already are giving up on the season. Just perfect... There's still plenty of time left in FA, AND the draft, AND June 1st cuts, etc, etc,... F*ck people, just relax and be a little patient. Except you Ahmad18, you can go ahead and get your troll ass outta here and head for the signonsandiego boards to be with your new friends. And don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out..

I am a Raider fan 19-0 or 0-16. PERIOD....
