Cool Raiders Need To Do Something Now!!!!
YOU GUYS OUT THERE WHO THINK THAT WALTER KID IS OUR HOPE MUST BE SMOKIN SOMETHIN FOR REAL. we can't go into the season with either of the qb's we have and believe we got a shot .And don't even think about bringin collins back he's a bum always been one .everybody is gettin better but us why???????????? somebody tell me somethin ....... help. i think our front office is al davis get it together . you better have something good up your slleeve like vince young

why can't we use walter? he was the top qb on our board last year. give him a shot. if we have a running game, he should be ok. he may get into trouble if he needs to throw the ball to win the game but i'll take my chances.

listen i don't know that much about dude . i can't see us goin into the season with the guys we have at qb . if we can get young cool i'm with that but we need to have a backup plan if we don't

I think all are options suck at this point. Why we didn't go after Brees is beyond me. Collins is probably waiting for that call from Al. Collins stock is rising at this pont. We should be ashamed of ourselves. We have other needs on Defense plus a running back, and all the worthwile guys are gone, or are going to sign in a couple of days. Who have we signed? All we have been linked to is Daunte, and that was a mistake too. Everyone one is getting better, but we are probably worse off now than ever.

Haha pirate33, so Young is the savior of this team? Young I doubt could beat out Tui at this point. Walter already knows the Raiders system. Young has inferior stats to Walter in College. Let me get this straight, you want us to use our first round pick (ignoring all other needs on the team) to draft Young, and then you want us to annoint him the starter? Just let me know if I am off base here. You do know that he has basically admitted that he is not open to being coached right? You do know that he is already dictating to the team that may draft him that they have to run a shotgun spread type offense because he doesn't know how to take a snap from under center, and can't read defenses unless in the shotgun right? You know that his greatness comes from his running ability and not his throwing ability right? You know that he scored a negative 1 million on his wonderlic test, and may not even be able to read this post right? You know that we have a "Football 101" section on this site right?

Once again another post. Will they ever stop. We have plenty of time and besides we couldn't afford the prices of the guys that have been signed so far. 30 mil for Randle EL, like 40 million for Brees...Even fat Ted got way more than he was worth.

I'm fine with Walter starting, give the dude a chance. Who knows he may be the next Rothlesberger (sp). We won't know unless we try. But to think that Young is the answer and Walter is not is not rational.

Did ASU run a pro style offense while walter was there? just asking cause all this Vince is ready but Walter isn't crap is starting to make me wonder what the reason for it is. And IMHO with recievers like Moss, Porter(when he stfu and plays), Gabriel, Morant the only one out of these two who I would want behind center is a pocket QB who can go through the reads find the open man and get the ball to him. This involves good throwing mechanics which is one of Youngs weak points.

k i never took you serious before, now i really dont think you know anything, how can you say that vince young who has never taken a snap in the nfl wll be better then andrew walter...i dont get it, it makes no sence what so ever...i'm not saying one will be better then the other because niether has taken a snap in a regular season nfl game...

alright for all you know it all fans , what the hell are we gonna do with waters? since most of you believe in him . if you were the owner what would you decide to do with our team ? of course we need defensive players first and then heip on the o -line but you can't pass up young . i'm not sayin i totally would go with him anyway i think brooks is really the one . we need to spend our money wisely and bring in quality players and brooks can be better than collins that's for sure
