I guess Willis was just a little off with his inside info.

First the entire coaching staff was going to get released. Didn't happen.

Then Saunders was supposed to be the next HC. Didn't happen.

So, I though dude was never wrong? hmmmmmmm....

the entire coacthing staff DID get released, were re-signing some of the guys that we want but everyone did get fired

and he did say that Al was gonna hire Saunders, but Saunders had a different plan.. and it was mentioned that Saunders had no interest in being a HC

and who said he is never wrong? he is human ya know.

Nobody ever said Willis was never wrong. He has been providing inside information for a couple years with great accuracy. Al keeps the organization very hush hush so all information that looks like it is going to happen sometimes does not happen. Did we have to start a bash WDR thread? This guy comes here to give us inside info that we would not otherwise have days early. Apparently it looked like Saunders was headed for being our HC until The Dan paid him 2 Million a year to be a OC/AHC.

On a thread way back, there were more than a few people who told me "Willis is never wrong." It's the truth, look it up.

To me, the entire coaching staff getting released means that EVERONE is gone. Apparently, it's confirmed that Ryan will stay. That already one that's staying, so that's not EVERYONE.

Sorry, I just don't see how he's such a renowned "insider." Maybe someone can explain it to me.

You people are back-tracking and being apologetic. More than a few people told me, when I questioned him a few weeks back, that "Willis is never wrong." That's the facts, I didn't make that up.

Also, Willis clearly stated that the entire staff would get fired and that Saunders would be the next Raider HC, not that he was simply a leading candidate. Btw, for anyone what wants to question my football knowledge, I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Rob Ryan was gone and we RESIGNED HIM so I dont see how that makes Willis wrong considering that Rob RYan had to be resigned

and he is an "insider" whether you want to believe it or not, basically your tryna find fault in him but what about all the accurate news hes given us?

Actually, Ryan's contract would have run out this week. The Raiders just created a new one for him. His contract was never officially terminated the way Turner's was.

Who am I to question his credibility? Someone who's not so gullible to believe in what he was saying all the time. I questioned him back when he said the entire staff would be let go and people jumped on me for it. Trust me, when it comes to the Oakland Raiders and Al Davis, there is no such thing as an insider. Al Davis doesn't give leaks to the media. He doesn't work through the media, so people claiming to be insiders are either not being truthful or are making guesses. Simple as that.
