:bs:
such BS! that Tampa team was his team, not Grudens! thus why it fell apart the following season and Gruden had to rebuild it again.. dont go calling Dungy a loser, thats ridiculous the team lost, not just him

I wouldn't go a far as to call Dungy a loser. He has too much class to ever be a loser. He does however, seem to be snake bitten. And yes, that was Dungy's team that Gruden took to the SB but, Gruden appeared to be the last cog they needed to do go there and win it. However, Dungy has taken a Colts' team that had a defense other teams laughed at - not anymore. The Colts defense has significantly improved under Dungy's tutelage. Let's not forget, Peyton has struggled in the post-season (3-6) and many of those losses were without Dungy. I can't call a guy who consistently fields a competitive team a loser.

That was Dungy's bucs team that won the SB, and it was Gruden's Raiders team that they dismantled. It was really a bizarre set of circumstances that we happened to faced him, the guy who built our offense, but was now with another team, had an excellent defense. I remember hearing John Lynch saying "we've seen every single one of their plays in practice". I am still haunted by that.
I wonder, if we had gruden that year and they didn't, what would have happened. I have a feeling both teams would have still met, but the outcome a little different.. Dungy is a great coach who will have his day. He may have some trouble with big games, but he is a great coach, who gets the credit for building two excellent teams. |

I dont agree, Dungy is a class act, who has won evrywhere he has been.

Got to call BS on this one
...how many times did Madden get to the AFC title game before he got over the hump? Would not consider him a loser! This one hurts to say ..but how many times did horseface get the donks to the show before they got him a running game...sure would not consider JE anything but a winner..as much as it hurts to say!

So I guess Marvin Lewis, Bill Bellicheck, Lovie Smith, Jack Del Rio, Joe Gibbs, Tom Coughlin, and Jon Gruden are all losers also, right?
Jeez....
