umm heres a lesson in football, 3-4 players dont win championships TEAMS DO and it isnt about having a team full of talent, its about playing Strong and sucessfully as a team every game, the Colts team on a whole CHOKED not Dungy, he had them playing well all year.. they went 14-2 and were suppose to win that game! but his players choked on him, and his years with the Bucs were great! he built his way up to a superbowl caliber team, and then went to the Colts and Gruden who is a very good coach took over and Won a superbowl with Dungy's team... they would of won if Dungy would of stayed, why? cuz Dungy is a better coach then Gruden is regardless of post season records, Dungy would of had that defense dominate and Gruden is lucky that his D was talented, all Gruden did was spark a little offense into the Bucs.. so Dungy has a QB who chokes in the postseason, and a very untalented defense that he made great and his players decide that even though this is there year they wanna choke and lose, not Dungy's fault.. hes taken that team to many sucessful teams but rarely does a coach win a superbowl right away! it takes years! and Dungy might get his superbowl but he has to make a lot of changes.. Dungy cannot be called a loser for this loss, he did his part and the players didnt.

3 or 4 players don't win Championships? Do tell! The point is he has had extremely talented cores on both clubs with good enough role players to be capable of playing "Strong and sucessfully as a team every game" and has underachieved in the postseason. In the regular season he is great.

I don't consider going 11-5 then 10-6 then 9-7 while getting beat progressively worse in the postseason without scoring a single TD (11-6 to St. Louis, then 21-3 to Philadelphia [with the highest scoring offense in franchise history!] and finally 31-9 to Philadelphia again) building anything. Gruden took the defense Dungy had been letting rot on the vine, re-vamped a pathetic offense (that had been letting the D hang out to dry in the playoffs) with 5 new starters and 2 key role players and got in just under the window closing. It's easy to rationalize it from a distance, but when you see it up close and the same patterns keep repeating over and over again you're not as charitable. His 1st playoff appearance in Indianapolis he gets waxed 41-0. Last season the Colts prolific offense gets neutered 20-3. Last Sunday should have been even worse than it was if not for some generous refs. Believe me, if this happens again next season the Colts fans will lose their patience. How many times do his loaded teams have to choke before you think he has something to do with it? He's the 2nd coming of Schottenheimer.

no he a good coach i mean i really dont blame it on him to why they choke.. look at peyton he calls his own plays once at the line of scrimmage so i believe he chokes and gets nervous... idk its just a think thats been happening for a couple of seasons.. they have to quit that and start winning games.
