Why do the raiders have to leave in the past

That history of the Raiders was for those that really don't know about it. As an OC guy I know it's hard not to think everything is for you.

Also Marty Schottenheimer has the best record against the Raiders but I don't know what it is. With all of his great success in the post season my mind tends to get blown away. Marty's play calling makes Rush Limbaugh's views seem liberal, especially in the post season. Marty's a good regular season coach but will never win any big games; There was even rumors they almost fired him after the season so don't go around struttin. The Chargers have never won anything other than in the AFL in the Gary Garrison, Mike Garrett, John Hadl, and Lance Alworth days.

Football goes in cycles, meaning that every team doing well now will eventually suck in the future, this is inevitable. So by this person's logic, no team can ever be a successful franchise because the past is irrelevant. Hypothetically if the Pats don't win another Super Bowl for 20 yrs., then this current run that they have enjoyed should be forgotten, and their franchise should be labeled a failure?
