and y is this now in the smack forum??? there hasnt been any name calling....

Now that I will agree on......Ryan hasn't been very creative in scheming or calling a defensive game. Some may say, well we had a few key injuries and threw some young players into the fire and that caused our gameplan to be vanilla. I can understand that to a certain extent. However, it is the DC's job to prepare these guys week in and week out to perform on a high level. I haven't seen that from Ryan. Anytime, we've seen a blitz in which a defender has come free, we've never seen that blitz again. But we would see the same blitzes from Coop, Morrison, or Clark every week and with the same lack of success. Teams knew exactly when we were blitzing and where the pressure was coming from. IMO, he does not job a good job at creating confusion or calling plays.

My question is

What killed the 46 defense???

I mean if i remember correctly the 46 defense was like sending 8 9 rushers a play and totally selling out...

how did the nfl offenses counter it to the point that its gone...

i mean is this the new 46 defense we're seeing with denver and pitt???

the 46 is all i play in madden, both the 46 'bear' (5 down lineman) and the 46 regular....its the best defense in that game period!!!

every now n then i play nickel...but only so i can run the corner blitz lol

a defense that can TACKLE.....watch these playoff games....these defenses are giving a tackling clinic.....fundamentals and wrapping the ball carrier up....that's where it is at...
