Battle of the Bay..goes to???

Well..hmmm..this is a tough one..or is it?

We both had the same exact records for the year.

Hell, we both had the exact same record for the last 3 years.

So..how..oh how..can we even equate the team, heads up?

Well, it's no secret the key to success in the NFL is to remain healthy. The Stealers, Colts and Bronco's were the only teams that did not have a single starter on IR this year. The league's four healthiest teams all made the playoffs and 7 or the 8 healthiest made the playoffs.

Now..the Niners..on the other hand..for the second year in a row..lost the most games by designated starters to injuries (101) and finished the year with seven starters on IR.

The Raiders were in the MIDDLE of the pack, with 42 games lost by starters to injury.

Let's see..both teams four wins.
101 lost games to starters for Niners
42 lost games to starters for Raiders

Looks like the Niners..again..are the better team.

Don't worry..the Niners..again..will keep that coveted Battle of the Bay trophy tarnished and rusty..until our next season.

The draft hasn't happened yet. Free Agency signings haven't happened yet. Player releasings haven't happened yet.

There's no way to tell just yet. I know the Raiders lead the overall series but I can't use that as a basis on who wins the game.

We shall cross that bridge when we approach it.

Either way, it should be a good game.

The Forty Whiners will draft another Quarterback with their first pick because Alex Smith sucks! What a waste....I mean, come on...a quarterback from Utah?

You are calling the Niners better because of "injuries"

Mike, Mike, Mike... you are using the oldest excuse in the book? I would say the difference between the two teams is points given up defensively minus points scored offensively. THis margin of defeat will show who was more competetive since we both had very similar strength of schedules...

So, you are saying the Niners are better because they are worse... their "quality" players got "injured". Well, I am sorry that your team's lack of depth has ruined your season, but that lack of depth surely does NOT mean you are better. Try again. I will give you a cookie for your efforts. Good day sir.

since we verse each other next year it will be decided then all those statistics u come up with i think your just makin them up now because u know the 9ers are a terrible and u get all satisfied when u show us these bull**** stats that when really it kills u to see your team struggle and have no future when we have a future

u were last in offence and defense,LOL!!!! your not going to even go8-8 for at least 10 more years

keep on showing us your stats from the PAST!!!! because u honestly think that the past makes u a better team, F*CK your a sad sad person!! freakin weirdo ,seriously dude u have reached a new low

P.S this post is reflecting on all of mike's other threads as well
