Was Gallery worth the Pick?
"Coming out of the draft, Gallery was considered either on par with the talent level of players such as Orlando Pace, Tony Boselli and Jonathan Ogden." I don't see any thing other than false starts and holding penalties.

I dont know how we passed on a franchise QB in Ben Roethlisberger for an O-Linemen. I would take Taylor and Ben over Gallery so imo he wasn't worth the pick.

How is it that Gallery's natural position is LT. His freshman year he was a tight end. And sophmore and junior years, I don't really know what he played. So even if he played 30 games at lT he has played RT 32 to be exact. One more thing you earn a position when you are better then the player you beat out. If he was better then Sims he would be playing LT but he's not so to get onto the field he plays RT.

im sick of hearin that lame excuse, first of all Sims was awesome at LT last season, and you dont FRIGGIN KNOW why Gallery is at RT and Sims is at LT it could have nothing to do with Talent! you forget who our coaches are!?!?!? could they be wrong? YES!
Playing RT and Playing LT are different, Gallery is a natural LT he is use to steeping back with is left foot thats his mindset and he should be at LT not RT... and he will moved due to the regression of Barry Sims.

hind sight is 20/20.. at the time.. I believe he was the right pick.. put looking back at the draft... we couyld have used some SOLID Defensive help..

I hope with a top 10 pick this year.. we either move up the board.. or draft a Heavy Hitter, since we can stop anyone..

well if you look at the stats I am sure Gallery had more.... But I do not think it was enough worth mentioning his talents....
...as for Moss, No I do not think Moss is a bust... therefore, I do not think Gallery is a bust... I would just like to see proof of all these Gallery got burned pics/clips... everytime i slow down the tape, gallery is usually looking down at his man he just pancaked!!!

gallery just needs to get back to being motivated, he knows collins sucks so what the hell he gonna play his ass off for, its hard to get motivated when you have a fake leader, and general at the helm, gallery was a good pick, he just needs the right coach to get in his ear, just win baby.

Usually false starts and holding penalties are the only time you ever hear an O-linemans name. It's a dirty thankless job. I don't think he has met the expectations he came out with but his expectations were probably higher than anyone else in that draft but he is by no means a bust.

I also think it has alot to do with the new O-line coach..... maybe they just don't gel?
