I know we need the browncos to lose but I just can't root for the raiders.

I'll just try my best not to root against you.

Sorry bro...You would have better luck hoping to win the lotto.

This Charger fan will not be a Raider fan for this week, next week, the week after or ever. It would be good for the donkeys to suffer a loss but there's
no way in hell this faider team is capable of doing it.
I honestly don't expect it, but if by a God given miracle this was to happen
more power to us.

You'd be better off hoping that lightning hits the whole Broncos team on the bus to the game

I read on some other threads that the players have given up on Norv Turner; they consider him to be gone in a few weeks.

But the Raiders, from Al Davis down, must be loathe to be swept by the division and have the Donkos clinch the AFC West title against them, all in the same game. Therefore, I have to believe the Raiders will bring some game with them to Denver on Xmas Eve. One can only hope.

Cool! Win it for the Raiders! Im good with that!
That would suck to be swept in the division.....

Since I am on the subject , a little question. has a team in the history of the NFL won ONLY ALL their division games and lost all the others? So 6-10 by new format or 8-8?
Just curious, was thinking about that tonight for some reason....

I think you're wrong about Turner and the players....

Raiders players support Turner

ALAMEDA – While its uncertain whether Norv Turner has the support of owner Al Davis, his players have rallied around the Raiders coach.

Even though Oakland (4-10) might not even match last season's 5-11 record, the players see improvement and hope the coaching staff will stay to see it through.

"We don't want to switch to a new staff. We're so close to where we want to be," linebacker Danny Clark said.

Safety Stuart Schweigert agreed. "I know defensively, we're behind the coaches 100 percent," Schweigert said.

I know. I know. And I'm glad I was wrong. I was going with what Nancy Gay reported early on Monday. But apparently there has been some rallying behind old Norval. Fantastic. I hope the Raiders go to Denver determined to play hard in support of their coach.
