I think they should officially rename Qaulcom stadium to "Oakland Coliseum South". Every game in SD is practically a home game for the silver and black.

The Chargers wouldn't be half the team they were if LT wasn't on their team. Sure they have Drew Brees, Antonio Gates, and Mcardell but. . .a team is **** without a running game.

You guys savour these victories because they won't last long. Sooner or later you'll be right back down in last place where you belong. If you even make it to the playoffs this year you're just going to get whiped out in the first round. If somehow you manage to make it further then that, just remember this. Peyton Manning and the Colts will whipe the floor with you.

To think that LT is the only weapon we have is showing how naive you are to the NFL game. I think everyone here would agree that the definition of "without a running game" means with a RB, who in a 16 game season, fails to rush for 1,000 yds...In the last 25 years, 7 teams have won the SuperBowl without a 1,000 yd rusher

those teams had Defenes, WR power, and a mix of good RBs
they may not of had a franchise back but they would have 2 solid backs that can do the damage.

now if LT was not on your team, I dont think you guys would struggle with Sporles and your good run blocking but truth is.. your WR power isnt that great a lot of it has to do with LT opening up the run game as well as any RB can in the league other then RBs like Shaun Alexander and Edgerrin James.

Okay, say what you want, but it seems that you're running smack about things that you have failed to do your homework on...just like your boy throwback420.

The Raiders are the WORST team in the NFL regarding next year's cap, while the Chargers are at worst...third BEST against next year's #. Oakland has a projected $120 million salary against a $90 million cap, do the math...that's $30+ million OVER the #. That only includes 39 players under contract for next year and DOES NOT include Woodson's HUGE cap # if the Raiders choose to re-sign him, $10 million/year to play FS, don't hold your breath. There is STILL 12 players to sign and you still have $4.4 million in dead money for Gannon to sit in the broadcast booth. You'll be lucky if Collins restructures his deal to free up some $$ as well as Moss, but to get rid of Kerry will add injury to insult as the impending cap hit would be HUGE, look for #5 to be starting for you guys for at least 2 more years. Say bye-bye to Woodson, Walker and Gibson, and you'll have to ask Porter to restructure his deal...again. In light of his unhappiness...he'll probably get traded or be allowed to walk, he's a big $$ # now anyway and IMO, he won't take less money again to play on a team of "I"'s and "Me"s even if he's one himself. So for everyone who says, "New Coach (nope), new QB (sorry) new impact free agents (better be cheap and most of the time you get what you pay for) and new impact rookies (look for what little money you have to go after your 1st rd pick, after that...you can't afford anything else).

Again it's your FO that is to blame, and it's puzzling why there's no demand for improvement there. Every year we're in 'horrible' cap trouble but Al always somehow works around it. I don't think Woodson will be here next year if he refuses to sign a long term contract and I wouldn't be surprised if we let go of Walker and Gibson. They under preform. You've showed us the facts but I'm not worried at all.
