Sounds like a conspiracy - eh? A conspiracy from the AFC West to ensure that Norv sticks with us. We go nowhere with Norv. Ultimately, Norv IS RESPONSIBLE for the team's play. He's the Head Coach - he's responsible - end of story.

...and, he did that with Chris Simms! And, he's been winning with whoever is at QB. There's no denial, we loved "Chuckie" when he was here. When has Norv ran out onto the field to hug one of his players after making a good play? Gruden does it all the time. Herm too. All the winning coaches do. Ultimately, the team's play is the Head coach's responsibility - end of story.

Not only that, but do you notice players play for the good coaches. Look at Simms, he's still a youngster, but under gruden his skill level has gone up. He's winning, and I'd bet he becomes a good qb under gruden. Our guys dont really make plays under or for norv, if they did...why are we losing so much. To add to your point, a hell of alot is attributed to the head coach!!!!!

That would be a rip off to Rob Ryan. He's been doing a great job, for what he's got. He's got a defense with alot of young players, yet check out the defensive rookies, they're raising their level of play. For having such a young defense & no playmakers, Ryan is doing a really good job. Dont penalize him Al, he's the only one earning his check!!!!!!

Now that we finally got a D that is improving. I agree, no D coordinator change is necessary. We need to add pieces to that and we will be alright.

God, 2-14 and 1-9. Has it ever been this bad for us in division play? I don't think so. I'm too lazy to bust out the stats from the Bugel, White, and later Shell years, but I don't think we've ever been on this miserable of a stretch against our rivals. We always had San Diego to kick around and it seemed we'd split against Denver and KC even during the roughest of times.
