Well, there's other teams that will have (at season's end) a worse record than the Raiders, and if Humblebolt had any knowledge of football, he'd know that the team with the worse record is the team that gets the number one pick.

I don't like to dwell on the past....so I won't mention (much about) the 2000 Chargers' 1-15 record or the '75 2-12 Chargers or the 2-11-1 Chargers of '73.

Now, for those that think that there's a chance we'll get either Bush or Leinert in the draft......think again. We could end up (at worst-or best depending) getting the 6th or 7th pick....which could put us in line for AJ Hawk. But, those are bridges we can't cross until we get to them. The Raiders MUST focus on the here and now and what lies directly ahead....and that's Humblebolt's beloved San Diego Chargers.....a game I should get to see since it's a night (making it early Monday morning for me) Sunday game. Yeah!

Later.

Later.

The Raiders have really sunk to a new level of pathetic futility. I don't know if this year's team will even equal last year's record. What an embarrassment.
Not the worst, but perhaps the most disappointing in the AFC.
And to the monkeys who bring up 1-15; at least the Chargers Righted their ship. Something Oakland cant seem to do regardless how much $$ they throw around in the free agent market.

You know what...if i was a Dolts fan, besides killing myself, next I would be worried about this...

See, if we're smart.

Norv will be fired.
Collins will be cut.
We make smart offseason moves.

Uh oh...2006 - The Year of the Silver and Black!

I hate to break it to you...but no one is worried about the Raiders. All I heard before the season was how 2005 was supposed to be the year of the Silver and Black.

Funny, before this season we were hearing all the raidud fans talk about all the great moves Al made in the offseason and how Collins was a winner and Moss and Jordan were going to lead you to the playoffs.

But I'm sure this offseason Al will really make all the right moves.

You know you may be right. No one is worried about us but just remember, everyone thought that last yr when we played Denver in the snow game on Sunday Night Football. A win verses SD will more than likely not get us to the playoffs but it sure would slow you all down.

Coming from a Charger fan, I would have to say your assessment is pretty darn accurate.

I mean, after all, who would know more about losing than a Charger fan?

This team has been bad for so long, the only highlight Charger fans have is hoping they beat the Raiders. That makes their season.

Your team won the division last year. Congratulations. You didn't win the SB did you? Ok then.

Oh, you beat the Raiders, what, 3-4 times in a row? Congratulations. Today you are up, tomorrow you are down. You should be used to that by now. After your lone SB appearance, where you got killed and humiliated, it was 10 years before you got back to winning a division.

Take a cue from your moniker. Be a little more humble.

How about this for size? Sorry about the game Sunday Raider fans. I know how frustrating it is to lose when expectations are high. I am sure things will pick up, hopefully not until after this Sunday. Good luck.

Dosn't that sound a little more classy?

Different team, different management. But play in the past all you want. Fact is, you guys will be lucky to pull out another 5 win season.

Im sure you folks gave the donkies the ol poish the trophy routine prior to Elway's last two years.. but thats now gone. Say, have you ever won back to back superbowls? Donkies have. Does that mean anything now?
Gettin the vibe?

So lets talk present. What has Marty ever done? Ok he has gotten you to the playoffs but he also did the same with Clevland and KC. He turned thier seasons around. But thier is just one thing he keeps gettting fired for.......cant win in the playoffs hence the term, one and done Marty. Thats if you even make it to the playoffs

Btw..... when was the last time the Chargers won the superbowl...oh my bad YOU HAVE'NT!!!!

LAw of averages hopefully will come into play. Its hard to dispute what you say about Marty; great regular season coach, porr in the playoffs.

When was the last time the Raiders won a superbowl? over twenty years ago. this attempt at smack is getting old. Pun intended.
